This series is dedicated to Jake Reynard, a straight guy who was viciously attacked by a gang of thugs in Thunder Bay because they *thought* he was gay. He was savagely beaten with bricks, which left his head and face so broken and disfigured that he's looking at three reconstructive surgeries and a series of metal plates to hold it all together.
The community response across Canada has been overwhelming, putting pressure on a police department that otherwise didnt seem all that interested in going after the cowards that did this. Jake's on his way to a reasonably full recovery.
